Well, my pants aren’t really falling down…
I was helping a friend do some work on a sound system the other night. He was wanting to use some new cables that were bundled using zip ties. He asked if I had a pocket knife. Well, me living in Texas, of course I do. Let me dig it out. three minutes later I was still digging in my left front pocket and my friend was ready to use his teeth to break through the 3 zip ties. My problem: I carry too many flash drives in my pocket.
Hello, my name is Andy and I’m a flash-drive-o-holic (among other things).
My answer? Replace the flash drives with a micro sd card reader and several cards in a handy dandy card holder.
Micro SD card holder – YELLOW
|The MicroSD cards:
(I carry a large one for data storage and several smaller ones for booting into different operating systems and recovery tools.)
|Samsung 128GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSD
EVO Select Memory Card with Adapter
|Silicon Power 16GB x 2 MicroSDHC UHS-1
Memory Card Limited Edition- with Adapter
|Last but not least, the USB Reader|
|PNY 32GB microSD Card Elite 85MB/s, U1 with OTG Reader|
So… I can still get my geek on, only now I don’t have to worry about losing my pants.
