These two DLL files were just a couple of the infections that I found on a customer’s PC today using Hitman Pro while booted in safe mode. The customer’s complaint was that Internet Explorer would freeze while he was in their web app. Before getting to the point where I wanted to run Hitman Pro, I uninstalled all of the toolbars that the customer had inadvertantly installed.
So, in just a few minutes, I was able to remove several Trojans, several toolbars, do a reboot, and voila! The user was all excited that he could get back to work.
Hitman Pro is just one of the tools I use to maintain my customers’ equipment.
